Saphira Linux androidDragon
Android development on Saphira with proper support: apk add android-tools installs ADB, fastboot and the platform tools (37.0.0_p1-r2) from the hatched repository, with Gradle and the JDK completing the build toolchain. Build here; run on the device the app was made for.
Available now from the hatched repository: apk add android-tools

Target the level you need
An Android application targets an API level: the set of platform behaviors and APIs it compiles and runs against. Saphira holds the SDK platform for the level your project declares, added through the recipe system, so the build resolves against the platform you intend rather than a default you did not choose.
Platforms follow the package stream
The tools above are published and installable now. SDK platform API levels arrive through the same package stream; the packages page lists which levels are available, and the build resolves against the platform your project declares.
