Analytics
Traffic statistics are collected by a first-party Matomo instance hosted on AKADATA infrastructure within the same local datacentre environment. Matomo runs on a separate virtual machine from this website. It is configured without cookies and is served same-origin through /matomo/. No analytics data is shared with third parties.
Third-party trackers
None. No advertising networks, no social widgets, no external tag managers.
Server logs
nginx records standard request logs for operational and abuse-prevention purposes. These logs include the visitor's IP address and requested path, which can be personal data under the UK GDPR, and they are rotated on a short schedule.
Forms
Details submitted through the bug report and contact forms are used only to respond to your message and to fix the problem you described.
Downloads
Download tokens are short-lived and exist to make counting and rate limiting possible. They do not require an account.
After a download starts, visitors may optionally provide contact details and information about their intended use of Saphira. AKADATA may use those details to request feedback or make a one-off follow-up. They are not added to a marketing mailing list.
Your rights
UK data protection law may give you rights over personal data held about you, including rights of access, correction, erasure, restriction and objection depending on the circumstances.
Questions or requests can be sent to AKADATA through the contact page.
You also have the right to raise a concern with the Information Commissioner's Office.
